Job Description Summary
Clinical Research Assistant will perform daily clinical research activities in accordance with Human Subjects Protection, Good Clinical Practice regulations, IRB policies and approved protocols administered by the Department of Pathology with partnership with the Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); may assist with assessing patient records required for specified clinical research protocols to extract data; completes data entry, scans research records; performs tests on human samples in the clinical lab for an approved clinical trial or study; generates reports and reviews to ensure validity of data supports activities to ensure compliance with all Institutional Review Boards (IRB) and the study sponsor.
Required Education and Qualifications
High School graduate required. 0 years of relevant experience required.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a clinical or research laboratory. Experience in Pipetting and working in a biosafety cabinet and handling human specimens is preferred.

Must be able to work well with others, be able to multi-task, and have reliable transportation to East Hospital. Must be able to work flexible hours during the week.
