Job Description:In addition to strategy development, the Ecosystem Lead will oversee the successful execution of the ecosystem strategy. They will collaborate with other team members to identify and address potential challenges or obstacles while regularly reporting on the performance of the ecosystem. The Ecosystem Lead will also work with the team to develop and implement new initiatives, ensuring that Otsuka remains competitive and market relevant.Roles and Duties:• Well-planned and executed commercial strategies can foster the growth and success of the ecosystem and contribute positively to the economies in which they operate• Take charge of an ecosystem's Health Science Associates (HSAs) team to bolster clinical demand and enhance patient and customer experience.• Transform the regional/ecosystem plan to align with patient-centric objectives, and achieve KPIs and performance targets that prioritize patients' well-being.• Continuously explore the healthcare industry and broader commercial context to recognize best practices and embed them into Otsuka's innovative account management methodologies.• Utilize information gathered from the field force and other sources to create tailored and effective regional business plans.• Teach HSAs to develop customer plans that are attuned to the prevailing market conditions, meeting customer needs and delivering results against HSA and ecosystem KPIs.• Join forces with ecosystem partners to devise and execute customer involvement strategies and initiatives, using strong external customer interaction, primary and secondary market research, and field organization to gain insights and perspectives.• Partner with local HSAMs to develop collaborative relationships with key industry leaders, particularly IDN executives, and prioritize creating patient-oriented platforms for strategic partnerships.• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the specific necessities of each customer as they endeavor to improve patient results, cut down costs, and enhance healthcare quality. This will necessitate creating, upkeeping, and making use of networks and connections in the healthcare sector and working hand-in-hand with clients to develop innovative solutions.• Work together effectively across various roles within the healthcare system to achieve common goals focused on the satisfaction of patients and customers. This may involve designing field deployments that are customized to meet the specific needs of local communities and creating strategic plans and key performance indicators for the healthcare ecosystem.• To enhance patient outcomes, it is essential to assimilate knowledge from established relationships, synthesize it, and utilize it to develop a comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and effective means to influence the system.• Demonstrate unwavering adherence to the ethical and professional standards outlined by Otsuka in all business activities.• Prioritize collaboration among team members to build a culture of customer focused solutions. By working together, solutions can be developed and implemented that enhance customer engagement and lead to better patient outcomes.• Utilize effective communication skills to create an environment of trust and collaboration among team members, thereby fostering a culture of success and achievement.• Sales management must ensure alignment between the goals and projections for the region and the larger strategic plans of the organization.• Our team of experienced business analysts will work closely with Otsuka to develop a customized strategy that aligns with its unique needs and goals, while taking into account the competitive landscape and industry trends.• Create a dialogue with your customers to understand their needs and challenges, and use their feedback to inform improvements to the ecosystem.• Foster a sense of community among all stakeholders, including customers, to support cross-functional teamwork and collaboration in developing solutions.Qualifications:• We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree as a minimum requirement but would prefer if they have completed postgraduate studies in a related field, such as an MBA degree.• The ability to develop and execute account plans in addition to negotiating contracts with different healthcare entities like hospitals and health systems is a requirement for the role, along with prior experience leading account managers or partnership managers.• A desirable characteristic would be to have had prior experience in the commercial life sciences sector, especially biotechnology or pharmaceuticals, or a similar industry, with a focus on engaging with crucial entities within the healthcare ecosystem (e.g. health systems, payers).• Having the ability to excel in an uncertain and constantly changing work atmosphere is greatly beneficial• Accomplished in leading and supporting others to enhance their performance, meet their objectives, and surpass their personal aspirations.• Consistent record of meeting or exceeding both quantitative and qualitative objectives.• Possessing an extensive comprehension of strategy formulation, covering contracting strategy, management, and execution, can give you a significant competitive advantage.• It would be beneficial to have previous experience in sales management or marketing specifically in the Neuroscience or Nephrology market, or a similar industry.• Sound knowledge of healthcare compliance, legal and regulatory setup.Skills:• Performance Accountability - Stay committed to fundamental strategic objectives, take on responsibility for elevated performance standards, and play a crucial part in the implementation of change.• Use a flexible approach when problem-solving, consider a wide range of potential solutions before settling on the best approach.• Affirm a consistent concern and dedication to our customer's welfare by maintaining a patient-centric outlook.• Impactful Delivery - Deliver structured, clear and courteous messages.
