The Global Supply Manager position will report to the Head of Global Supply Management and develop the supply chain strategy and sourcing of direct supply chain components, systems and/or software for the Outrider System.  This position requires sourcing expertise of the autonomous driving hardware and software ecosystem, strategy, negotiation and supplier relationship skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn in unstructured environments. The Global Supply Manager builds and leverages strong working relationships with our engineering teams and key suppliers to achieve world class technology, supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance for the rising demands of our business.

• Collaborate actively with Outrider engineering, manufacturing, quality and product teams, as well as external suppliers and partners, to ensure all components and systems are built to spec and delivered on time 
• Lead the vendor selection and contract negotiation process with internal partners and suppliers
• Develop negotiation approach, fallback positions, acceptable terms and conditions through to closure
• Drive price negotiations processes to ensure that Outrider’s commodity prices are best in class, and drive supply base consolidation where possible
• Owner of RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented
• Ensures NDA, SOW's and general terms and conditions are positioned appropriately before business is initiated
• Partner with appropriate internal stakeholders and lead the evaluation process of bid award with the evaluation team and drive the closure of a sourcing decision
• Identify key benchmark suppliers in RF-x efforts
• Partner to identify evaluation criteria and provide relevant data and recommendations back to internal

• BA/BS or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management and/or equivalent experience or evidence of exceptional ability
• Working towards an MBA
• Experience improving supply chain and supplier performance, including the use of cost models and objective-based performance measures
• Analytical and results focused with ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment. Experience working with and managing hardware components, Software, Services, etc.
