About Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to join the team that creates new complex solutions for government clients from the Middle East.

Your impact

Design scalable, high-performance database architectures
Define and enforce database architecture standards and best practices
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration
Lead database design, including schema design, indexing, and partitioning
Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization
Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
Oversee data migrations, ETL processes, and data pipelines
Ensure data governance, quality, and integrity
Stay updated on emerging database technologies and trends
Provide technical leadership and documentation for architecture solutions

We are looking for someone who has

5+ years of experience as a Database Architect or similar role
Expertise in database technologies (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL)
Strong experience in database design, optimization, and architecture
Proficiency in security, backup, and disaster recovery for databases
Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and clustering/replication
Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
Certifications (AWS, Oracle) are a plus
