We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLP Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) to provide exceptional speech therapy services. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Essential Functions of the job, as a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist Therapist we operate in the following daily:

Evaluation & Plan: Assess patients within 24 hours of referral and develop effective treatment plans, obtaining physician approval.

Provide Therapy: Deliver treatments as prescribed and adjust per policy.

Supervision: Oversee Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants during care.

Collaboration: Communicate patient progress with the care team and participate in conferences as needed.

Documentation: Maintain accurate evaluations, progress notes, and required records.

Family Training: Instruct families and staff on maintenance programs for discharge readiness.

Compliance: Follow state practice acts, facility policies, and payer requirements.

Leadership: Act as a preceptor for students and CFY/RFP candidates.

Requirements: Positive interactions with residents, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathologist Therapy, prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Speech-Language Therapy. Intermediate level knowledge with computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care (PCC).
