While this position is temporary, it does not have a determined end date at this time. We're looking for someone who can start right away and contribute effectively to our team. This position is remote, and the selected candidate must be available to conduct business in the Eastern or Central time zones.This role will be responsible for applying art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, communication media, and other print and digital materials. Supports the brand/channel marketing units, as well as internal functional areas, in creative execution of required graphic design projects. This role ensures that materials maintain established brand standards, brand tenets, designer/consumer targets and strategic plan.The chosen candidate will be collaborative, driven, excited to try new approaches, and care deeply about the customer experience with an eye always on positioning MasterBrand as the preferred partner of choice.Responsibilities• Collaborates with client, editorial staff, manager, and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.• Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.• Chooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate; may enhance choices with simple drawings.• Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by client or other project participants.• Execute high quality graphic design for brands across a variety of mediums (such as collateral, POS, website, social media and other consumer/designer touchpoints) with professional integrity and cohesiveness, while maintaining brand standards and understanding the project's objectives and budget. Clearly communicate project status to project owner and production staff. The complexity level of design projects ranges from low to high.• Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for review.• Prepares final layouts, print orders and assembly instructions on notification of final approval.• When needed, may develop new brand identities, including logos, color palette, and apply all concepts to branded touch points• Work simultaneously on multiple projects from conception to launch with various deadlinesQualifications• Bachelor's degree in art, Graphic Design, or related field required.• 3+ years of related work experience in Graphic Design or Art highly preferred.• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.• Proficient in Mac OS, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Windows Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Canva.• Experience with web and email design a plus, familiar with Sketch and WordPress tools.• Experience utilizing Adobe Premiere to edit video a plus.• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for team events and continuing education opportunities.Additional InformationEqual Employment OpportunityMasterBrand Cabinets LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
