Energy Growth & Sales Specialist

The Specialist will play a pivotal role in attracting and retaining customers while driving the marketing efforts for energy and power products and services. In this position, you'll be tasked with coordinating, engaging, and enhancing relationships to ensure revenue assurance with maximum demand customers.

1. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Coordinate and assist in creating, developing, and maintaining high-quality solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and efficiently.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.

2. Revenue Management:

  • Analyze energy consumption data and billing histories to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and collection of revenue from customers.
  • Coordinate cash collection activities and resolve billing-related issues.

3. Business Development:

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve growth targets as well as identify and pursue business opportunities to acquire new maximum demand customers.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate project feasibility.

4. Data Management and Analysis:

  • Improve the accuracy and completeness of customer data through effective KYC processes.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and insights.

5. Regulatory Compliance:

  • Maintain adherence to the Quality Management System and Occupational Health & Safety protocols, while also following all applicable regulations and industry standards.

6. Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with technical and other important stakeholders on decision-making related to customer complaints.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • This role requires a first degree or its equivalent diploma qualification
  • Requires at least 5 - 7 years commercial work experience
  • Experience in the energy sector, particularly in dealing with maximum demand customers, is preferred
  • An experience in power or banking sales will be an advantage
