Sales Arborist – Monster Tree Service of Music City 


Monster Tree Service of Music City has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Sales Arborist who will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction, estimating job costs, and achieving budgeted sales goals for your territory. This is accomplished through constant communication and daily in-person appointments with customers and prospects.   


Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Build and implement a Territory Sales Plan for his/her territory in conjunction with Franchise Owner.
  • Diagnose work to be performed, taking into account tree risk assessment and how work will be performed by a combination of crew and equipment.
  • Provide on-site estimates to customer and review the scope of work with the customer.
  • Actively pursue the customer commitment to scheduling the work.
  • Review neighboring properties for work opportunities.
  • Utilize sales process tools, software, and other technologies to streamline the process for the customer.
  • Attend home shows as directed by Owner and other opportunities to demonstrate Monster Tree Service capabilities.
  • Review scope of work and safety issues with the Crew Leader prior to beginning each work assignment.
  • Understand financial aspects of each job assignment.
  • Communicate well with the Owner, Crew Leader, and all crew members.
  • Strive to improve job skills and develop the potential for upward mobility.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years industry sales experience or 5 years of related industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the green industry or related field preferred but not required
  • Prior field and supervisory experience preferred
  • ISA Certification or the ability to obtain one
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Possess exceptional organizational skills
  • Be familiar with and adhere to all ANSI and industry standards
  • Must be able and willing to lead by example
  • Arboricultural excellence -- dedicated to tree care industry career
