At Palmstreet, our success is evidenced by repeatedly expanding into new categories, and enable strong sales for the sellers through live commerce. You'll be working closely with the CEO to bring more and more retail categories (industries) into the live commerce era.
Quickly grasp the business dynamics of a whole category (aka industry), including its sellers, buyers, wholesalers, influencers, and super connectors
Devise a GTM plan, to onboard sellers to sell and be successful on Palmstreet
Onboard sellers with high quality and large quantity
Drive sustained GMV growth in the category
Very sharp, can quickly grasp the big picture of a category through a few discovery calls
Business-oriented, ideally with a Bachelor or Master degree in business majors
Great communications, good at persuasion through phone calls
Confident, but also open to feedback
Able to fly to different cities in the US once per month, for trade show / sales trips
Entrepreneur or early stage tech startup experience
2+ years of experience working in consulting firms or VC
2+ years of experience working in sales functions

In this role, you'll collaborate directly with our visionary CEO, diving deep into the dynamics of various retail categories. Your mission? To create effective Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies that attract and onboard sellers, ensuring their success on our platform. You'll become a category expert, understanding everything from buyers and sellers to influencers and wholesalers, while devising comprehensive plans to promote sustained growth. If you're sharp, business-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, we're eager to have you on our team. Ideally, you have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in consulting or sales. This role is remote-first, with regular travel across the U.S. for trade shows, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of live commerce.
