• Sharique Arshi (Lead Software Architect) - 12+ years of experience in software engineering with distributed systems, architecture design, microservices; IIT-G B.Tech. 

• Saurabh Khemka (AI Lead) - 8+ years of industrial experience in large scale model building and deployment, PhD in Neuroscience - Switzerland, IIT-R B.Tech.

• Sameer Kulkarni - 7+ years of experience across a number of HR and Operations roles including learning and development, organizational development and project management; SPPU - Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology

ROLE SUMMARY 

As a Product Operations (Generalist) at Parspec, you will be the operational backbone of our product team, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient processes across multiple functions. 

You will:

• Coordinate with multiple functional teams - QA, Development, Web Crawling, AI, Product and Business teams - in order to ensure we are on track and aligned with high-level business objectives

• Lead QA for the Data pipelines and set up relevant efficient business processes

• Support overall engineering tasks related to dataset preparation projects, data quality checks with minimal oversight

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Leading QA for Data Pipelines

• Leading the QA effort across multiple data annotation service teams with daily coordination meetings and progress trackers 

• Support daily product operations activities, ensuring a smooth workflow between product and operations teams

• Defining clear and scalable processes for QA of data inputs and pipelines

• Ensure data inputs to our systems are accurate, consistent & reliable

• Assess any risks early on and provide actionable recommendations

• Willingness to dive into detailed, time-consuming tasks when necessary. Understand the importance of groundwork in achieving project success.

• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of project management, documentation, and QA efforts.

• Lead initiatives to reduce manual efforts, and enhance productivity across teams

• Constantly evolving the process based on iterative inputs from Product & Engineering teams.

• Clearly reporting findings to the other teams

• Assess need for hiring and scaling resources (internally & externally) to drive multiple product/engineering initiatives

Coordination between multi-functional teams (External and Internal)

• Clearly defining problems and keeping track of progress

• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders

• Creating and managing documentation - configuration videos, KT processes, etc.

• Collaborate with multiple teams internally, ensuring alignment of project goals, effective resource allocation, and cohesive teamwork

Improve Operational Processes & Increase Efficiency 

• Identify, implement, and standardize best practices for product operations across the organization

• Create and manage operational workflows 

WHAT DOES YOUR ARSENAL LOOK LIKE

Required

• At least 2-3 years of experience in operations, strategy or equivalent roles (No freshers) 

• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to approach both quantitative and qualitative challenges effectively

• Deliver on multiple deadlines and priorities compulsively as a self-directed individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail in tracking, documenting, and improving product workflows.

• Solid data analysis skills and willingness to do hands-on analysis and data pulls. 

• Demonstrated ability to learn fast and adapt in a rapidly evolving field

• Experience with rapid scaling of early-stage products

• Proficient with Excel, JIRA, Confluence, MySQL, Python, Google workspace, Loom, Slack

Preferred, but optional

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related fields

• Sufficient experience in any construction or building engineering firm - with the goal of having a clear understanding of how building products are spec’d

• Prior experience working with web crawlers or QA of data pipelines meant for AI ecosystems

• Prior experience working on technology products for construction or other similar industries, e.g., automotive, aerospace, manufacturing  

• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and users across multiple time zones
