Overview
Leads a team of employee relations professionals responsible for responding to concerns, workplace policies, procedures and compliance with all company policies. Contributes to productivity, motivation, and morale, while instilling and maintaining our culture and values. Defines and implements proactive employee relations strategies and initiatives, leads investigations, and develops... rapid response plans as required.
Responsibilities
• Leads a team that effectively handles sensitive and complex investigations while providing guidance and support to Sr Leadership and key stakeholders.
• Develops internal processes to ensure appropriate documentation standards, case assignment and capacity management, case audit and weekly ER case reporting.
• Leads performance-based projects to drive improved business results through increased productivity, retention and engagement of the workforce.
• Partners with Internal Audit to provide recommendations to leaders on appropriate actions and/or resolutions.
• Partners with legal on policy and program development in response to federal, state and local legislative trends.
• Delivers innovative solutions by challenging the status quo and thinking outside the box to generate creative ways to scale Employee Relations programs, tools and resources that meet timelines and deliverables.
• Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates the performance of Employee Relations team to ensure all department objectives are being met. Coach and develop Employee Relations team for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs and other resources as required for professional advancement.
• Identifies evolving and unique Employee Relations challenges across the organization and leverages expertise to predict and mitigate risk.
• Creates opportunities to enhance the employee experience through process improvement.
• Drives listening strategy including focus groups, exit interviews, and engagement surveys. Develops an understanding of the voice/pulse of our workforce. Combine data and anecdotes to develop perspective. Ensure perspective is at the forefront of proposed solutions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree - Required
• Master's Degree - Preferred
• 5 years of experience in leading multi-tiered Employee Relations.
• 10+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• 7 years of experience in Management experience.
• 3 years of experience in Senior leadership experience.
• PHR/SPHR Certification - Preferred
• GPHR - Preferred
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $ 106,582.60 - $ 167,486.95 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range
