Summary – The Payroll Assistant works under general supervision and focuses on learning USG payroll systems, quality assurance tasks, issue resolutions, assisting with client implementations, and other special projects. Assistance is provided to help set schedules, provide reports to management as well as other planning and coordination efforts with Payroll. This position supports the Shared Services Center in providing efficient and effective services to the institutions of the University System of Georgia.

Minimum Requirements
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and one year of Payroll Administration experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the necessary knowledge and skills.
