About GoodRootsGoodRoots is a real estate startup that turns renters into homeowners through our new shared home equity program. By providing first-time homebuyers with a new, low-cost alternative to mortgages through our next-gen fintech platform, GoodRoots unlocks ownership for millions of households in the country's most expensive housing markets. Now we're focused on delivering the next version of our platform with a focus on making the complex process of finding and funding your first home simple with GoodRoots.About The RoleAs our Senior UX Designer , you'll create user-centered designs that empower renters to become homeowners. Working part-time (20 hours/week), you'll collaborate with the founding team in-office in Bellevue, WA (at least one day per week) to build engaging, intuitive interfaces that drive user adoption.What You Will DoDesign end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for our core fintech platform.Flex your product muscle, including helping out with user research and some product management dutiesCollaborate with engineers, executives and other stakeholders to align designs with business goals.Create a responsive, user-friendly interface across web and mobile devices.About You 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably in fintech, insurtech, proptech or mortgage tech guiding users through complex, high-consideration transactions.Proven ability to design complex systems with clear, simple user interfaces.Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.Passionate about improving housing affordability and making a tangible impact in your community.Benefits & Perks High impact and ownership.
