Design Engineer (iOS)

Perplexity is looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. We are seeking someone with strong expertise in iOS development and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.

Skills

Expertise in SwiftUI, UIKit, Core Graphics, and Core Animation
Strong experience with consumer mobile apps
Expertise in motion and interactive design
Ability to translate Figma mockups into practical designs

Responsibilities

Design and implement sophisticated UI with a keen eye for animation, detail, and user interaction.
Utilize a deep understanding of SwiftUI to build interfaces overcoming limitations and leveraging strengths.
Collaborate with design and mobile engineers to translate visions into production-quality UI.
Create reusable component libraries as building blocks of our mobile app.
Continuously polish and iterate on the existing user experience to enhance its delightfulness and usefulness.

Education

Minimum 4 years of iOS engineering experience
