About Pacific Fusion 

Pacific Fusion was founded in 2023 with the mission to power the world with abundant, affordable, clean energy.

We are rapidly designing and building a pulsed magnetic fusion system to achieve net facility gain (more fusion energy output than stored energy input). In parallel, we are developing the key components required to build affordable fusion systems.

About the Role

Job Overview:

As a Computer Graphics and Visualization Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing our designs to life so the world can visualize our fusion demonstration system.  This demonstration system will achieve net facility gain, and will have its own site, facilities, and infrastructure.  You will work with our technical leaders to create the visual graphics.

Responsibilities:

  • Continue to make computer graphics and visualizations of our fusion demonstration system so that our designs can take shape in people’s minds

  • Work in NX CAD to design graphics of sub-systems and the overall fusion demonstration system

  • Create graphics across media that can be used for: presentations, website, visualizations, and movies

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in NX CAD to create 2d and 3d graphics and visualizations

  • Experience designing complex machinery that doesn’t yet exist, going from an idea to a graphic

  • Familiar with turning limited inputs into a beautifully designed visualization

Actual base salary offered will be determined by: experience, skills, and work location. This range is for base salary, our total compensation includes equity and benefits. We welcome you to apply even if your expectations are outside our listed range.
