About the Role

The Senior Designer is responsible for the visual representation of the PEXA Brand through all customer touchpoints and marketing channels, positioning PEXA as a property leader and innovator in Australia and International markets. They will ensure to maintain and building on PEXA’s positive brand reputation in market. 


The Senior Designer will take on the key design projects for the business, ensuring alignment to Brand Guidelines, Brand Strategy and project goals. They will bring a creative and collaborative approach to the design, leveraging best practice and ensuring key stakeholders are engaged. The role will also stretch across the whole PEXA Group business including PEXA’s Insight brands – .id, Value Australia and Land Insight; PEXA UK and our employee brand.  


The Senior Designer will be responsible for the strategic prioritisation of tasks within the team, the work allocation, training and mentorship of the Graphic Designer, ensuring they have individual projects and contribute to larger projects. They will also be responsible for the oversight of the Videographer, ensuring they are delivering against the business priorities.


Key Accountabilities

• Creatively develop and execute design projects across multiple PEXA products and brands, meeting agreed objectives for yourself and your team.


• Understand business priorities, manage stakeholders, anticipate needs, and remove blockers to enable your team's success.


• Provide governance and guidance to ensure adherence to PEXA's Brand Guidelines across all design work.


• Lead the evolution of PEXA's brand identity, recommending enhancements and driving activities to increase brand awareness internally and externally.


• Maximise PEXA's brand presence across channels and customer touchpoints, with a digital-first focus that reinforces trust in PEXA.


Skills and Experience

• Strong digital design experience with a diploma or degree in Graphic Design.


• Proficiency in digital design tools like the Adobe Suite through formal courses.


• 5-8+ years of graphic and digital design experience in a medium/large organisation with complex stakeholders.


• Proven ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across all levels, including the C-Suite.


• Expertise in communicating complex information to diverse audiences (B2B, B2C, Government).


• Ability to expertly manage high workloads, with an agile approach and design recommendations.


Key Attributes

• Excellent proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML skills being an advantage.


• Up-to-date knowledge of web standards, UI/UX design best practices, and interaction design research.


• Strong typesetting, design and layout capabilities across digital platforms like web, mobile and applications.


• Working knowledge of accessibility standards to create inclusive digital experiences.


• A keen eye for detail and passion for exceptional digital design
