Job Description

The Senior Manager of Business Planning is a key leader within the Strategy Realization team who will drive the implementation of an annual strategic planning process, conduct analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, and lead a team of strategic and innovative thinkers.

  • Drive the annual planning process ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Develop and implement planning standards, templates and tools while working to consolidate and analyze throughout the planning cycle
  • Support the effort to define, categorize and ultimately realize the top priorities that impact the business
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Foster collaboration and communication among various internal teams driving cross-functional alignment on the company’s goals
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing key performance metrics and progress toward business goals
  • Develop and lead a team of direct reports
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management or other related field, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a strategy, strategic planning, or business operations role
  • Understanding of enterprise strategy management methodologies (ex: Balanced Scorecards, Objective Key Results, etc.), tools, and approaches
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills  
  • Strong business acumen and analytical rigor with ability to utilize data and business analysis to make informed decisions
  • Ability to use relationship-building and communication skills to influence others
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
