Chief of Staff

Chief of Staff, Growth (Product, Sales, and Strategy)

Location: Los Angeles, USA or London, UK

About Stash:

There have always been platforms, like app stores and consoles, getting in the middle of gamers and game developers (did you know they take 30% commissions on each in-app purchase?). Stash sees a future in which developers can be their own platforms for the first time by delivering excellent direct-to-consumer experiences. We offer game developers a suite of tools that enable them to directly sell to and engage with their players, including web shops and custom game launchers. Founded by Twitch co-founder Justin Kan, Zynga executive Robin Chan, and Googler engineer Dan Borstelmann, building great game experiences and successful companies is in our DNA.

Role Overview:

As Chief of Staff to the Head of Product, you’ll act as a strategic partner and operational right-hand to the Head of Product to drive growth across three areas of Stash: Product, sales, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and track high-impact projects across product, sales, and strategy to ensure timely delivery and alignment with company goals.

  • Executive Support:

    • Partner with the Head of Product to prioritize his time, manage his agenda, and provide operational support.

    • Manage relationships and attend meetings with executives from major games companies and industry figures on behalf of the Head of Product.

    • Prepare and follow up on meetings, ensuring action items are addressed and priorities stay on track.

  • Communication & Reporting: Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders, including product roadmaps, strategy updates, and bespoke sales materials.

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct deep dives into market trends, Stash’s competitive landscape, addressable customers, and potential growth opportunities to inform product and sales strategy and decision-making.

  • Strategic Operations:

    • Assist in defining and implementing company and product strategies in collaboration with leadership.

    • Identify and address inefficiencies, improving processes to scale operations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a fast-paced operational role in a startup or tech environment.

  • Comfortable working autonomously and wearing many hats—scrappiness and resourcefulness are essential.

  • Proven track record of project management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

  • Willingness to travel to meet stakeholders or attend industry events on occasion.

  • Bonus: Experience working in gaming, product management, or a tech-forward environment.

This role is an opportunity to work directly alongside leadership at a rapidly growing startup and have a major impact across every part of the business. If you’re looking to accelerate your career in the tech and gaming space, we’d love to hear from you.
