Location: Scott AFB, O’Fallon IL

Required Clearance: Secret

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience: Demonstrated six (6) years’ recent equivalent experience. 


Position Description:  


PingWind is seeking a Lead Emergency Management Analyst II is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining emergency management programs, policies, and procedures. They coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective responses to emergencies, continuity of operations, and disaster recovery


Primary Responsibilities:


Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Leads a dynamic team of experts in direct support of the Command’s Emergency Management Program.

• Command’s Continuity of Operations (COOP) requirements outlined in DoD and USTRANSCOM COOP Policies reports to the C5T Program Manager on the status of support requirements. 

• Ensures the preparedness and response capabilities of personnel and key infrastructure essential to successful USTRANSCOM operations. 

• Responsible to the government OPRs to support emergency management planning and program activities and Emergency Management Training Support to include Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / AED, Bleeding Control, and other first aid training requirements across command. 

• Performs whole of mission coordination as a key member of the Command COOP Site Support Team and the Command COOP Reconstitution Planning Team (RPT). 

• Facilitates actions of the COOP Planning Team, reviews current COOP Plan and associated appendices while providing support activities for the command Alternate Operating Facilities.

• Provides continuous integrated process and program improvement as opportunities are discovered.

• Develops and update comprehensive emergency management plans, including mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery strategies.

• Conducts risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential threats to the organization.

• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local emergency management regulations.
