🪶 You are:

Plume is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Architect to lead the design and development of our blockchain infrastructure and applications. As a Senior Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with our mission to integrate real-world assets into the blockchain ecosystem.

🪶 Overall Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design & Strategy

  • Lead the design and development of Plume’s blockchain architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including network diagrams and system specifications.

  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance platform capabilities.

2. Technical Leadership

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

3. System Integration & Implementation

  • Oversee the integration of various components within the blockchain ecosystem, ensuring seamless interoperability.

  • Develop and implement strategies for data migration, system upgrades, and infrastructure scaling.

  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements throughout the system lifecycle.

4. Performance Optimization

  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, ensuring the platform can handle increasing loads and transactions.

  • Implement best practices for disaster recovery, data backup, and system redundancy.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts.

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions, contributing technical insights to business decisions.

  • Represent Plume at industry conferences and events, showcasing our technological advancements.

  • 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with a focus on blockchain technologies and distributed systems.

  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems.

  • Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Solidity, Go, Rust, or similar.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
