À PROPOS DU POSTE:

Plusgrade recherche un Analyste de Données Risques & Paiements pour rejoindre notre équipe Risques et Paiements dans un poste permanent. Nous recherchons une personne intelligente, orientée vers les détails, enthousiaste, avec une passion pour la résolution de problèmes, la création de tableaux de bord, la construction de rapports et l'analyse. En tant qu'Analyste de Données Risques & Paiements, vous serez sollicité pour examiner, construire et/ou améliorer les rapports actuels utilisés par l'équipe des risques. Vous serez sollicité pour fournir des analyses et des recommandations basées sur votre analyse de diverses sources de données.

Le candidat retenu doit être un apprenant rapide avec une excellente maîtrise de Python, SQL et Excel, des capacités analytiques exceptionnelles, de solides compétences en visualisation de données et une forte focalisation sur l'amélioration des efficacités dans un environnement au rythme rapide. En tant qu'Analyste de Données Risques & Paiements, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans l'optimisation et l'amélioration de nos rapports et analyses de données, et travaillerez sur la réduction de la fraude grâce à la détection d'anomalies dans les transactions.


Notre système de base de données principal est Snowflake. Nous utilisons également une gamme de technologies, y compris Vertica, SQL, Alteryx, Dataiku, Python et Tableau.


Sous la responsabilité du Senior Risk and Payments Data Analyst, vous serez chargé de :

-Assurer l'exactitude, l'intégrité et la sécurité des données et des rapports.

-Exploiter les outils d'analyse de données (tels que Tableau, Dataiku, Alteryx et Excel) pour manipuler les données et créer et améliorer les rapports, les graphiques et les tableaux de bord.

-Réévaluer continuellement les besoins de l'entreprise, identifier les lacunes et fournir des recommandations pour améliorer et rationaliser les processus.

-Soutenir la résolution rapide des problèmes opérationnels et techniques en travaillant en collaboration avec les équipes internes et externes et les fournisseurs, et en escaladant lorsque nécessaire.


VOUS ÊTES UNE PERSONNE AVEC :

-Un diplôme universitaire/collégial ou une expérience professionnelle équivalente.

-Plus de 5 ans de solides compétences analytiques et de résolution de problèmes - capacité à analyser, interpréter, évaluer et tirer des conclusions à partir des données.

-Une maîtrise avancée de SQL et Python.

-Une expérience pratique avec des outils de visualisation de données - Tableau préféré.

-Une expérience avec des outils de préparation de données - Alteryx et Dataiku sont un atout.

-D'excellentes compétences en informatique avec une expertise avancée en Excel (tableaux croisés dynamiques, V-Lookups, requêtes puissantes, macros Excel, tableaux de bord Excel, etc.).

-D'excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale.

-Une forte capacité à respecter les délais, capable de travailler de manière autonome et en collaboration avec l'équipe.

-La capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités changeantes et à bien travailler sous pression.

-Une expérience avec la gestion de la plateforme Tableau Cloud et la gestion des accès utilisateurs.



CE SERAIT UN PLUS:

-Expérience avec Kount ou d'autres outils de fraude est considérée comme un atout.

-Expérience pratique du contrôle de version, par exemple, GitHub est un plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Plusgrade is looking for a Risk & Payments Data Analyst to join our Risk and Payments team for a permanent position.  We’re looking for a smart, detail-oriented, enthusiastic person with a passion for problem-solving, dashboard creation, report building and analysis.  As a Risk & Payments Data Analyst, you will be relied on to review, build and or enhance current reports used by the risk team.  You will be relied on for insights and recommendations based on your analysis of a variety of data sources.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The successful candidate must be a fast learner with excellent Python, SQL, and Excel proficiency, exceptional analytical abilities, strong data visualization skills, and a sharp focus on improving efficiencies in a fast-paced setting. As a Risk and Payments Data Analyst, you will perform a critical function in optimizing and enhancing our reporting and data analysis, and working on fraud mitigation through anomaly detection within transactions. 


Our primary database system is Snowflake. We also utilize a range of technologies, including Vertica, SQL, Alteryx, Dataiku, Python, and Tableau.


Reporting to the Senior Risk and Payments Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:



-Understanding the business needs of stakeholders and translating them into reporting deliverables and actionable recommendations.

-Supporting the evaluation of fraud trends, investigating root causes of losses, and formulating proposed solutions and remediation strategies.

-Supporting the team's ongoing process of making data-driven decisions.

-Analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting trends or patterns in multiple complex datasets, including fraud and gaming activity.

-Ensuring data and reporting accuracy, integrity, and security.

-Leveraging data analytics tools (such as Tableau, Dataiku, Alteryx, and Excel) to manipulate data, and build and enhance reports, charts, and dashboards.

-Continuously re-evaluating business needs, identifying gaps, and providing recommendations to improve and streamline processes.

-Supporting the timely resolution of operational and technical issues by working collaboratively with internal and external teams and vendors, and escalating when necessary.



YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:

University/College degree or equivalent working experience

5+ years of strong analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to analyze, interpret, evaluate and draw insights from data.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python

Hands-on experience with data visualization tools - Tableau preferred.

Experience with data preparation tools - Alteryx and Dataiku is an asset.

Excellent computer skills with advanced expertise in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Power Queries, Excel macros, Excel dashboarding etc.)

Strong written and oral communication skills

Strong ability to adhere to deadlines, capable of working independently and collaboratively with the team

Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities and to work well under pressure 

Experience with Tableau Cloud platform management and user access management

NICE TO HAVES:

Experience with Kount or other fraud tools is considered an asset

Hands-on experience of version control, e.g., GitHub is a plus
