A day in the life:
- As the Paid Advertising Strategist, you are responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of campaigns within your book of business. You are oriented towards the clients’ business success, tying your efforts to the greater business goals. You are self-started and autonomously own your responsibilities. You work hand-in-hand with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of your service within the broader media mix. You are responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with the support of a Specialist. As the Strategist, you are excellent at providing insights and forward-thinking strategy to clients on an ongoing basis, and have a strong understanding of your service’s strategy and the levers to pull to drive performance
Responsibilities:
- Full ownership and execution of performance marketing via paid social & paid media native platforms
- Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Youtube Ads, Bing Ads
- Effectively executing builds and production A-Z with redundancy across channels; facilitating production with Specialists on teams where applicable
- Lead execution of optimizations with regards to performance improvements relative to goals
- Manage all client budgets and/or advise on budget changes based on your expertise
- Effectively own strategic communication internally for client teams
- Proactive internal communication with team on performance, strategy, recommendations, deliverables, and action items; facilitating tactical needs with Specialist where applicable
- Weekly client progress recaps, outlining performance insights and future recommendations
- Excellent marketing and business strategy acumen
- Complete understanding of the marketing funnel and how to execute via paid social and paid media
- Full understanding of the eCommerce model and lead gen strategies
- Ability to navigate roadblocks and adapt strategy to changes in landscape to achieve desired results
- Ownership of performance reporting and strategy communication
- Execute performance reporting A-Z with excellent presentation creation capabilities
- Ability to leverage data to tell a story and articulate results to clients and key stakeholders with clear next steps
Role Requirements:
- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience. 1-2 years in agency setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Direct Response marketing; specifically in E-Commerce, Lead Gen or B2B
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Meta Ads for direct response campaigns
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing
- Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, ad copy development
- Significant campaign management experience in one or more of the following additional campaign types: Performance Max, Standard Shopping, YouTube Ads, Display Advertising, Local campaigns & Bing Ads
- Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’s place in the funnel
