PrideStaff Financial is looking for an experienced Controller who will be responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing financial strategies to make sure the company is in good standing and aid in their growth.Essential Functions:• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines across all processes, including but not limited to AR, AP, inventory, and payroll• Manage all tax and audit processes and be the liaison with senior management and outside firms• Establish financial and operating benchmarks, plans, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis in conjunction with the CFO• Create structure within the department and company• Oversee and support accounting team and supply chain teams with dynamic leadership to create an environment of trust and productivity• Ensure that all processes are in place to ensure the company's financial transactions are accurate, complete, and reported into the system promptly• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings of the company's financial recordsRequirements:• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited University.• 7+ years of experience as a controller or senior accountant• Demonstrable capacity for attention-to-detail, adaptability, and creativity• Knowledge of GAAP• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Be a hands-on, proactive business partner with other department heads to identify and solve problems, and drive process improvement and growthPrideStaff Financial is an equal-opportunity employerCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $85,000.00 - $95,000.00
