The Quality Assurance (QA) team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of functionality, performance, and user experience. By leveraging a mix of manual and automated testing, we ensure that new and enhanced features are polished and ready for our millions of users. We’re seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance Analyst to support the development of our flagship math MMO game, utilized by over 7 million students monthly. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and validating game features, ensuring they function correctly and align with design requirements. You will participate in both pre- and post-development activities, execute automated test cases, and contribute to new automation script development under mentorship from senior craft members.
Your Impact
Identify, analyze, and raise quality concerns during pre- and post-production phases to ensure seamless feature deployment.
Conduct thorough impact assessments on proposed changes and bugs, aiding the team in prioritization and resolution decisions.
Develop and execute advanced test cases for gameplay mechanics, UI, and core gameplay features, incorporating customer feedback to enhance user experience.
Independently finalize and distribute comprehensive test result analysis, outlining feature implications and potential risks.
Collaborate with customer support and development teams to triage and resolve game bugs efficiently.
Provide guidance to junior QA members and contribute feedback to enhance team-wide testing strategies.
About You
You have a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to verifying game quality.
You have experience in manual testing, with a solid understanding of game testing methodologies.
You can independently analyze test results and communicate implications to developers and other stakeholders.
You are a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
You are comfortable working cross-functionally to improve QA processes and drive continuous improvement.
Bonus Points
Experience working in a game development or interactive media environment.
Familiarity with Playwright, Cucumber, or other automation testing tools.
Strong understanding of agile development processes and software release cycles.
