We're seeking a Senior Tools Developer to join our team working on our flagship math MMO game, utilized by 7 million students monthly. In this role, you'll have the chance to influence the way millions of students engage with math through gaming, enriching both their learning and enjoyment. You'll contribute to creating engaging online math experiences where students embark on quests, level up, and collect virtual pets, all while learning from an extensive range of 1500 math topics.
Your Impact
Reduce feature lead-time by creating and improving existing internal tools for developers,artists and game designers
Design, test and implement improvements to the games asset management systems enabling an exciting and tailored player experience
Test code rigorously to identify and resolve bugs, delivering reliable and polished tooling
Share knowledge across teams in an open and collaborative environment and help mentor more junior team members
About
You have sincere love for gaming and more than five years of experience in the game development field,
You are well-versed in the workflows of game development disciplines such as art, game design, QA, and engineering and leverage this understanding to develop/improve tools to reduce feature lead times.
You are passionate about productivity, with a focus on analyzing processes and optimizing system bottlenecks to enhance efficiency.
Your excellent communication skills enable effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
You are a proactive learner who actively seeks out new technologies and willingly shares your knowledge with the team.
