Product Manager - Marketing Instrument Service

As the Product Manager for Marketing Instrument Service in our Lab Products and Services division, you will be responsible for product management activities in the development and commercialization of new service products in line with market requirements and interfaces with Sales, Application Specialists and Product Development.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Combine the Sartorius Company Brand with our customer needs to develop and grow recurring service revenue and customer lifetime value
  • Develop solid working relationships with customers to gain an understanding of their needs/challenges in order to provide optimal solutions – enhancing our Company brand
  • Responsible for the strategic and operational management of the service product portfolio along its life cycle, including service product roadmaps, pricing strategy and global alignment
  • Conduct competitive analysis and develop strong business cases to drive development decisions; drive consensus/alignment with stakeholders
  • Define service requirements and offerings together with the Technical Support team during New Product Developments and represent service within the product introduction process
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to embed service deeply during Product Development, Positioning and Marketing
  • Administer development of the communication strategy of the responsible service product (i.e., campaigns and their execution), together with the Marketing Communications team
  • Maintenance of the service products master data and documentation in SAP, PIM, DAM etc.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities by conducting market potential analysis and deriving targeted Go-to-Market approaches and business plans
  • Ownership of market facing service tools (for example, reporting tools)
  • Definition and execution of marketing campaigns and other customer communication measures, including the consolidation of customer feedback
  • Cooperate closely with sales and product marketing, production, product development, technical support and operational service for full internal alignment

What will convince us

  • Bachelors Degree in Life Sciences or Marketing combined with a high level of technical understanding
  • 2+ years of Industry background (B2B)
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing or a customer facing role
  • A proven track record for influencing and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Exposure to how to define services as a product
  • Strong customer focus ensuring we deliver value and innovation
  • Natural curiosity about innovations, technologies and trends in service marketing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
