Product Manager | Colocation

Job Description:

• Manage the product lifecycle – influence product vision, strategy, and roadmap, define product requirements and pricing, manage launch, optimize performance, and recommend end-of-life strategies.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve product performance and the customer experience – features, pricing – understanding the financial and competitive impact - provide recommendations for improvement, and lead cross functional programs to drive results
• Influence target KPIs, define achievement strategy, and operationalize the plans
• Ensure product features and available inventory meets retail market requirements as defined by competitive analysis, interaction with customers and prospects, third party analysis, and your own expertise.
• Collaborate with Finance to gain in depth knowledge of product performance
• Support sales and sales operations through sales enablement activities – training, customer calls, day to day questions
• Working with marketing, position Flexential’s suite of services in a clear and differentiated manner.
• Work with the development, operations, and service delivery organizations to deliver timely product enhancements and/or cost reductions.
• Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on Data Center Services.
• Drives product-oriented business cases and conducts analysis for strategic reviews

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, mathematics, science or equivalent experience. A Master’s degree / MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years experience in an analytical/strategic role with P&L experience is desirable
• Aptitude to grasp technical concepts quickly and accurately to drive business decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Expert Excel skills is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills in all scenarios – from reviewing business strategy recommendations to defining technical requirements especially in front of C-Suite executives
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change
• The ability to develop and build relationships with cross functional stakeholders to drive initiatives and results

• Familiarity with data centers and the colocation market
• Experience using Salesforce and Tableau

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
• May require limited travel

Hiring Range: 118,100 – 135,000
