LA Studio Production Intern - Summer 2023

Shoot days selected and scheduled by Vevo’s Senior Producer will require the candidate to be on set in our LA studio.  

Program Overview

The Summer 2023 Internship program at Vevo is a paid opportunity designed as a unique opportunity for qualified individuals to gain hands-on experience while learning about the music industry. 

Detailed Summary and Description

The Production Intern will focus on learning from & working with the Creative & Logistics teams with a focus on Production. This intern will be allocated to project work as a junior coordinator to develop various skill sets across different production areas both in the studio and in the office, giving them professional experience across various disciplines within production.

Sample Projects & Responsibilities

• Assisting with treatment creation
• Learning how to communicate with various vendors + suppliers
• Database management 
• Assisting with studio management tasks
• PA responsibilities on set 
• Project Administration
• Shadowing across various Production sub-departments on set

Qualified Interns Will Possess the Following Skills

• Prior production internship experience
• A deep understanding of on set etiquette 
• Interest in live production and content capture
• Strong organizational and research skills
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication 
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to take direction and work cross-functionally
• Proficient with Mac OS and experience with Google Docs and MS Office
• Creative thinker with high work motivation, follow through, initiative and ability to multitask

Requirements

• Rising Senior currently enrolled in a college or university
• Desire to pursue a career in the music industry
• 20 hours per week June 6th - August 3rd 2023 (Limited, occasional Sat & Sun hours could be required)
• Discretion and professionalism when working with high profile talent

The pay range for this position is $15 per hour. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Transparency Law.

This is a part-time position based on-site in our LA Studio
