Project Manager (Level based on experience)

About the role:

As a Project Manager, you’ll be joining a group of colleagues who’ve had a hand in building our business, culture and body of work. You will collaborate with our design and engineering team members and work closely to achieve client project success. Collaborate with the team to create solutions built using Web Design, UX, Content Strategy, SEO, front-end and back-end development.

Project Managers assign individuals or entire teams to tasks within the project, while creating and managing detailed schedules throughout the duration of the project.

• Risk Analysis: Another critical function that project managers play a central role is risk analysis. You must be adept at identifying potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources, and timelines, and communicating these potential issues internally as well as externally, when necessary.

About you:

• 2+ years of experience managing projects at a digital agency (App and/or Website) with understanding and is comfortable talking about languages, features, debugging, etc. of web design and engineering process and/or experience in technical project management (software project management preferred) over 500,00 USD.
• Self-motivation to deliver world-class work and exceed expectations.
• Anticipates and proactively manages potential project speed bumps and hiccups. Assists team members by identifying unforeseen challenges within and outside control of the team which could alter the intended results, and then implements necessary changes.
• Capable of speaking to clients to explain issues, risks, decisions, and document those items (RAID log)
• Write Scopes of Work and Scope Changes for approval internally and with the client
• Ability to write user stories and break down requirements into smaller levels of effort
• Understands various project management methodologies and ability to adapt based on client project needs
• Comfortable setting priorities and having difficult conversations internally with the team and externally with the client (team) to reset expectations and deliverables.
• Proven track record of meeting your client’s needs and of delivering optimal client experiences.
• Manage our client’s budget based on their desired targets. This also includes determining staffing needs and expected timelines to provide clients with a realistic expectation of the costs associated with the project.
• Throughout the project lifecycle, project managers oversee schedules and staff members, developing an initial project plan and timeline to ensure that team members understand the expectations. In addition, project managers may identify areas where team members are needed to ensure that project milestones and deliverables are completed according to the schedule and communicate resource needs/forecasts with Echobind leadership.

• Ability to identify new or existing opportunities, draft proposals, and help close new business opportunities
• Passionate about developing and leveraging processes to continually make our work and product better
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle - you’re comfortable talking about languages, features, debugging, iterative development, etc.
• Understands concept of MVP (minimal viable product) in an Scrum / Agile environment
• Working knowledge of project management tools such as Shortcut (fka Clubhouse), JIRA, GitHub, Asana, or similar
