Job Summary

We are looking for a professional,who will be part of a highly skilled team of project managers and engineers who strongly contributes to the overall successful management of multidiscipline teams to assure each project phase is completed on time, within budget, and to the customers’ satisfaction.
The primary function of the position is to manage filtration projects sold to the US and Canadian markets ranging from small pilot plants valued from as low as $25k to multi-machine projects up to $15M. This is a very customer facing position. In most cases you will be the one to kickoff the project with the customer via phone meeting or in person. You will then continue to develop the customer relationship from an OFCE (project execution and implementation) perspective.
This position will be located in Champlin, MN. You should be located within approximately 30 miles of Champlin, MN office.
Requirement for travel is sporadic, but plan for a maximum of 25% of the time.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal and External) who require International relocation to the United States.

What you will do

  • Drive clarification of the customer’s process, floorspace, utility, component, and delivery requirements
  • Engineer the filtration system(s) process using what you’ll learn about the science of filtration, and using proven processes and tools, then you’ll drive review & approval of engineered P&Ids in collaboration with our filtration experts following your process design..
  • Use Autocad to modify sales P&IDs for your projects as per finalized customer requirements and engineering
  • Create the bill of materials based on your engineered design, and communicate the BOM to our buyer for purchasing
  • Drive the 3D modelling of your projects by working with our filtration design team and then work with the fabricator to ensure the 3D model is clear, questions are clarified, and ensure system construction is per the plan.
  • Financial management of project
  • Coordinate with our installation supervisor at the conclusion of fabrication
  • Communicate with vendors and internal production management to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct site visits to clarify and validate space constraints, verify existing processes, and define interfaces between filtration systems and customer process to
  • Provide engineering meeting notes and distribute to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide on- site installation support as needed.
  • Conduct on- site commissioning support as needed.

We believe you have

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required.
  • Strong computer skills required (proficiency with excel and spreadsheets required).
  • Previous experience in a customer-interfacing position required.
  • Previous project management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Mechanical drafting skills preferred (Autocad).
  • SAP experience a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
