Project Manager - Risk Management

North American Bancard - Remote (Eastern Standard Time work hours)

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) projects at North American Bancard. This role will be expected to drive projects in large complex enterprise and highly entrepreneurial environments.

In this role, the Project Manager will manage the needs for a wide range of stakeholders across Underwriting, Fraud Investigation, Risk, ERM Data Science, and Compliance to help evolve and transform ERM’s business processes and and establish industry leading practices.

What you'll do:

Conducts regular meetings with NAB executives documenting current status of project including technical, schedule and financial issues that may be present and delivers progress reports to stakeholders.
Overall responsibility for managing the project and deveoping project briefs to inform stakeholders of project and initiative details,
Develop and manage project timelines and identify resources needed from original concept through final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project
Ensures assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines.
Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). This may include testing of new features that are developed.
Effectively communicate project expectations to all stakeholders
Ability to assess problems and solve them with a sense of urgency
Define and Manages project scope, goals, risks, issues, deliverables, and schedule of individual project tasks
Assigning project tasks and coordinate resources, including the review of individual issues and concerns (e.g., vacation and time-off requests) and resolving or escalating such issues as needed
Establishing and enforcing the use of the project’s Change Control process and Communication Plan.

What we need from you:

Bachelors degree.
2-3 years of previous Project Management or related experience.
Ability to specify a project plan, timeline and manage the process.
Strong MS Office and/or Google Work knowledge required.
Working knowledge of Software Development and IT infrastructure highly preferred.
Demonstrated Microsoft Project and MS Excel expertise preferred.
Experience in financial technology, financial services and/or fraud and risk functions preferred.
PMP Certification preferred.
Industry certification in Financial Crime or Fraud domain preferred
Ability to write project specifications
Ability to prioritize and handle changing deadlines
Strong ability to delegate tasks to all levels of staff, including management
Strong ability to communicate project needs to all levels of staff, including management
Exceptional organizational skills
