Project Manager

Seek Capital is looking for a passionate Project Manager who is eager to learn and work alongside seasoned professionals in a vibrant and fast-paced environment. As a Project Manager, you will work hand in hand with our experienced staff, playing a key role in managing projects to make sure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget, and scope. You will lead with a vision for the project, helping to persuade and motivate the team. You will assemble the team and brainstorm with them throughout the various project phases.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to learn and grow in a rapidly expanding company. Since our founding in 2014, we have been investor-backed, and to date, have originated more than $500 million, serving startup or early-stage small business owners with prime credit.

The position will be based in our Los Angeles office and will work directly with the VP of Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Create management, communication plans and processes
• Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties
• Define project responsibilities with stakeholders
• Participate in how budget and staff are allocated for the project
• Maintain project time frames, budget estimates and status reports
• Analyze all management and technical processes to ensure they’re delivered as expected

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience working in small fast-paced technology environments
• Strong communication and Interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members, vendors and management
• Analytical, computer, math and problem-solving skills to be able to use software and to explain the software
• Ability to triage multiple incoming and conflicting requests
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Lean development models
• Experience working in environments mostly utilizing SaaS
• Organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish
• Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
• Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
• A fast learner with strong communication and abstract thinking skills
• Team player with a genuine desire to learn and improve
• A positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail

Nice-to-Haves:

• Project management certification
• Experience in managing projects in Salesforce or WebDev or IT or infrastructure
