This position is responsible for managing Product Development department knowledge The role works cross-functionally with scientists, managers and executives to drive the planning, execution, and finalization of projects.

This position is responsible for the coordination of projects within Product Development, including coordinating the activities of project team members to create appropriate study designs, timelines, budgets, analysis methods, supplies and data formats. Additionally, this individual, working with team members, will drive timely execution of research activities, budget planning, and legal/finance process execution.

Responsiblities:

• Facilitates budget planning and process, including updates to the finance team. Tracks associated project expenses and communicate to director and scientists to ensure project budgets are met. Coordinates invoicing of all lab expenses for both Product Development and Implementation and Support departments.
• Drives project management capability within Product Development. In conjunction with the director and scientists, defines project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals. Coordinates timely organization and completion of the teams’ concept origination and completion documentation and presentations..
• Aligns cross-functional partners (e.g., Supply Chain, Procurement, Analytical, Clinical Nutrition and Claims, animal colony, and Experimental Food Lab) to execute key strategic projects. Serves as Project Lead for the activities of multiple key project teams, including meetings, action items, plans and associated communications.
• Initiates and negotiates to completion key business processes for key projects including OARS requests, SOWs, and contract reviews (CRSS) to ensure project timelines are met.
• Tracks completion of projects and represents Product Development in the animal resource prioritization process.

Required Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S.
• 4+ years working experience in project documentation, data manipulation, and/or data organization

Preferred Qualificaitons:

• Familiarity with Project Management Tools
• Experience managing Project and Department Budgets

Salary Range $79,200- $116,550

Pay is based on several non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive/Hill's offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
