Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow - all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible.Location : Remote within California, ideally northern CaliforniaAs a Mid-Market Account Executive at PTC, your role involves supporting the expansion of Arena's PLM and QMS Solutions into the Medical Device and Life Sciences segments in the Western US.Key Responsibilities : Support the expansion of the Arena business into the Medical Device and Life Sciences segments in California & surrounding western states.Achieve assigned revenue target by selling Arena's line of solutions and services to mid-market leaders and grow the new business sales.Establish Executive relationships at target accounts to help build the trust & sponsorship needed to move sales cycles forward and to closure.Provide sales strategy to cross-functional sales team resources (sales, presales specialists, product development, and global services).Drive and manage the entire sales cycle - from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close and execution.Deliver the value proposition for Arena PLM effectively - articulating benefits and ROI.Utilize SalesForce.com for lead management, sales forecasting, and recording of key sales activities.Successfully collaborate with the appropriate internal and external resources needed to execute sales cycles.Work with an assigned Outbound Business Development Rep to identify target companies to approach for new business sales cycles as well as assisting with their execution of email and call campaigns.Meet quarterly new business sales quotas.Requirements : Proven success and experience selling into Medical Device and Life Sciences companies.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience or apprentice training.Self-starter, results driven, motivated, creative, and resourceful.Consistent, successful SaaS Application Sales Experience.Excellent written and verbal skills to ensure professional communication to internal and external contacts.Able to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them.Able to work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver results on customer's behalf.Knowledge in quality management, design engineering, new product development, operational functions within innovative product companies.PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary.PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between 115,000-125,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
