Job Description

We’re on the hunt for a mid-level Integrated Designer to work under the day-to-day creative direction and mentorship of our Head of Design, and in close collaboration with Creative teams. As an Integrated Designer, your role will be to develop all design assets from digital, social to print, branding and basic finished art, for some of Australia’s best and most loved brands.

You will contribute to conceptual design ideas, taking and questioning briefs effectively to create compelling, effective and well-crafted design assets for advertising campaigns. You will design layouts according to guidelines set out by the agency and have excellent awareness of design principles to determine the style, technique, and medium best suited to promotion strategies.

We are looking for a strong digital design native, who has a curiosity for what's next in design, with (ideally) good knowledge of motion graphics and basic editing skills. You will be joining a kind and supportive team who are creatively ambitious and among some of the most talented in the biz.

Day to day in this role, you’ll get to:

  • Conceptualise and produce innovative design solutions across all touchpoints.
  • Produce effective and highly creative design ideas that exceed client standards.
  • Design layouts according to guidelines set out by the agency and/or client.
  • Deliver high quality, accurate artwork that meets all internal and external deadlines.
  • Create compelling content and pitch new design concepts.
  • Create a brand's visual identity (including creating guidelines, templates and masters).
  • Collaborate with broader disciplines within the business and positively engage with clients.
  • Occasionally deliver basic finished art when the finished artists are at capacity.
  • Create social media templates or populate existing social media templates.
  • Create motion graphics (animations, transitions, and visual effects) to enhance user interaction and storytelling in digital media. 
  • Design compelling presentation decks, working with assets and information from team members across various disciplines.

Qualifications

The person we’re looking for is/has:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a creative/advertising agency within a design, craft and/or creative department.
  • A compelling online portfolio, that shows excellent understanding of design principles and great craft.
  • Strong knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with digital design tools like Figma or Sketch and basic editing program proficiency.
  • A strong appetite to create award-winning creative work that pushes our clients and your colleagues.
  • A positive and enthusiastic collaborator, with a strong willingness to learn, and a growth mindset.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple design projects and timelines.

This role is full-time/part-time negotiable.
