General Description:
The selected individual will be responsible for designing and/or upgrading test apparatus (rigs/lanes/cells) as required, reducing and validating test data, tracking test severity, ensuring customer needs are being met, communicating with the Operations group to ensure productive and efficient testing, representing the Company at industry meetings and always looking for ways to improve our testing and efficiency. As a key member of the Mechanical lab, the expectation would be to take a hands-on approach to our testing and problem-solving, be an integral part of all solutions, and where applicable, lead OEMs, customers, or the industry to solutions that are technically sound while protecting Company interests and capabilities.

We are seeking someone who not only takes a hands-on approach to problem-solving but also eagerly searches for ways to improve testing efficiency. Your insights and skills will be invaluable in developing tests that yield performance data for our internal and external customer programs. With a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least two years of experience in a testing environment, you’ll lead the charge in creating technically sound solutions in areas such as automotive, fuels, emissions, or lubricant testing. Your understanding of vehicles and associated electronics will come in handy as you design and maintain test cells and rigs.
