Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with a passion for building automated tests.

An ideal candidate is as passionate as we are about developing and delivering an amazing user experience and a rock-solid, performant backend. This role requires hands-on experience developing tests, processes, and procedures for both frontend and backend systems and will be responsible for the core infrastructure needed to support our growth. As the subject matter expert in this area, you would be required to get your hands dirty building out the infrastructure and eventually developing into a team leader.

What You Will Be Doing

• Building and maintaining test automation frameworks using Cypress.io, Postman and other tools for complex web applications in cooperation with other team members.
• Work with other tech team members to identify or define appropriate testing of frontend and APIs for consumption by the application you are building.
• Designing and building the infrastructure necessary to ensure that our distributed, cloud-based backend systems and integrations function and perform well.
• Driving adoption of best practices, processes, and procedures for ensuring quality deliverables to scale.
• Collaborate with developers and visual designers to ensure responsive front-ends are built with testability in mind.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in test automation for both frontend and service-oriented backend systems.
• Ability to analyze system architectures and develop/execute QA/testing implementation plans.
• Deep knowledge of industry best practices and willingness to educate other team members.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other, similar cloud provider.
