The purpose of the Manager of Quality will be to develop quality control processes to ensure all packaging components and finished goods are produced with the highest quality standards to ensure product integrity is preserved

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze Non-Conformance Reports and implement action plans with internal and external stakeholders as necessary
• Work with subcontractors to monitor incoming inspections of Benefit owned packaging
• Partner with Packaging, R&D, and Process Engineering departments to develop item specifications for components and Finished Goods
• Manage critical relationships with external contract manufacturers, fillers, and other Quality partners.
• Ensure Benefit Quality Management system is meeting all regulatory requirements
• Develop, execute, and maintain a Quality Audit plan for Benefit subcontractors Supervise the Quality Assurance Specialists in the generation of item masters
• Supervise the Quality Control Specialist and manage the day-to-day inspection of finished goods at our distribution centers.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience working in a personal care development and manufacturing environment.
• Must have experience in cosmetics
• Knowledge of ISO and FDA Regulations & cGMP in a cosmetic/food environment
• Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in a cosmetic/skincare environment.
• Experience managing multiple CMOs, with knowledge of best in class CMO facilities.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related science Bachelors desired
• Quality Related Certifications (ISO, ASQ, Six Sigma, etc.)

Schedule:

• Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly in our San Francisco office

The target salary range for this position is $72,000 - $98,000 annually. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
