We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager with exceptional relationship-building skills, a network in the tech ecosystem, and an ability to leverage their relationships to identify and advance meaningful partnerships.
You will be dynamic and results-driven, with superb communication and relationship-building skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep network within Silicon Valley and the broader tech community and a proven track record of leveraging these connections to drive business growth. You can function autonomously and guide deals toward mutually desirable outcomes.
In cases where you do not have deep existing relationships, you be able to build them by navigating startups and larger tech firms, selling them on the value of partnering with Ramp. As such, you will be able to make sure we have deep and meaningful relationships with the right players at our key partners.
Leveraging your industry knowledge, you can also identify and nurture meaningful partnerships for Ramp across the tech ecosystem.
This role will involve cross-functional partnerships with our Product, Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams, as we work with strategic partners to build out new product features, streamline user experiences, and go to market hand-in-hand.
Leverage your existing relationships to advance partnerships that benefit Ramp’s customers and our partners
Identify such partnerships and drive both the partner and Ramp to bring execute these partnerships
Form new relationships with critical Ramp partners, ensuring we are properly mapped to and connected with key contacts at our major partners
Negotiate major commercial agreements, owning the entire deal process, from finding the right partners, negotiating the deals, rallying internal teams behind your vision, closing, and launching the partnership
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver against an aligned vision for key partnerships
Manage the relationships with our existing strategic partners by expanding joint collaboration, driving innovation in our products, and maximizing the mutual benefits derived from these partnerships
Ensure Ramp has best-in-class economics with our partners and the optimal structures in place to facilitate rapid product development
Advise internal stakeholders on the best approaches for product development and maintain knowledge of best practices in our ecosystem
A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience
Proven track record of building and leveraging relationships with big tech firms (Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon)
Deep network within Silicon Valley and the broader tech ecosystem, with strong relationships at both established firms and emerging startups
A strong user- and partner orientation and understanding of what partners and customers value
Ability to identify new partnership opportunities to drive significant value to Ramp customers and accelerate our roadmap
Excellent communication, sales, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions and influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive strategic initiatives
Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and objectives
Experience interfacing with clients face-to-face at networking events, including dinners, conferences, and on-site meetings
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed to accommodate partner meetings and events
