All regular faculty and staff serving at Regent and working a minimum of 30 hours per week will receive an attractive benefits package.The Video Producer will support the university brand, enrollment, and fundraising goals by producing high quality, effective video and commercial level products that tell rich, motivational stories. This position will expand video production capabilities in-house, and serve to further implement passionate, innovative creativity to existing workflows for creating target-specific media.Essential duties:• Produce all video projects for Regent University Marketing.• Serve as lead resource for all Regent video and photography needs.• Serve as script editor.• Schedule and produce quarterly radio commercials.• Coordinate activities of internal and external teams for the development of assigned projects.• Ensure that production schedules are executed, clearly documented, and communicated.• Direct video projects and edit video as needed.• Operate a camera as needed.• Source and secure talent for photo, video, and audio.• Actively collaborate with video team members on concept development and pre-production tasks.• Attend and actively participate in location scouts for production determination needs alongside the Director.• Interact with key stakeholders to understand specifications, content, and delivery expectations.• Interact with clients at a professional level.• Ensure quality control and quality assurance is met throughout each video project.• Ensure that consistent Regent branding exists across all projects.• Manage and maintain Marketing’s photo, video, and audio equipment by performing regular inventory checks.• Oversee and maintain video footage and project assets according to the video archival process.• Manage specifications of technology packaging for commercial and radio ads.• Direct and oversee student workers and graduate assistants.Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:• Bachelor's or graduate degree in film, communication, or related discipline; equivalent work experience may be substituted in place of a degree• A minimum of 2 years of video production experience• A current portfolio highlighting quality of work is required• An expert understanding of video and photo production, video editing, and workflow• Experience with video production software such as Adobe Premier Pro is required• Drone certification preferredCandidate must have:• Excellent project management skills• Strong organizational skills and professionalism• Creative team player mentality• Commitment to Regent's core values of Excellence, Innovation, and IntegrityRegent University does not discriminate in employment in its programs or activities on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, disability, age or veteran status.
