Research Assistant in the Laboratory of Dr. Luo Dahai (profile page: https://dr.ntu.edu.sg/cris/rp/rp00464)

We are currently recruiting a Research Assistant who will join the laboratory of Molecular Mechanisms of Viral Infection & Host Defense Laboratory at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKC medicine), Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Responsibilities:

Work with the PI and team members to perform experiments, document results, and analyse data.
Assist purchasing of equipment, materials and consumables and provide general supports for the lab.
Keep track of cell lines, plasmids and other reagents and materials in the lab.

Skills and qualifications:

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or equivalent in any relevant fields of cell biology, biochemistry, virology or structural biology.
Previous research experience or laboratory training in molecular cellular biology is desired but not essential.
Self-motivated and well-organized with good communication and technical skills.
Be able to work independently and collaborate effectively in a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
