Job Overview
Assist with the performance of laboratory functions within the UC Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office. Coordinate with clinical research staff to manage samples from patients enrolled in cancer-related clinical trials. Make independent contributions to projects and studies based on professional training or functional experience.
Essential Functions
- Process human blood and other specimens following specific research protocols.
- Document procedures and record data according to research protocols.
- Operate laboratory equipment.
- Manage shipping, receiving, and storage of research samples.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
