Overview:
The key focus of a Boyne Reservations Sales Agent is outgoing and friendly interaction with a wide range of callers. In this position, it is very important to connect with our potential guests and quickly form relationships to discover their travel wants and needs.
This job requires great attentiveness; the ability to listen; to ask intuitive questions and sell our resorts to golfers, families and couples coming to experience all that our Michigan resorts have to offer!
Communication in this position takes on a more unique style as you get to tell our story and paint the picture of what our guest’s vacation will look like for them. A lively enthusiasm is necessary.
Personal interactions will generally be upbeat and cheerful, requiring someone who is warm, helpful, and friendly. This position is fast paced, fun and detail oriented.
Due to the nature of the hospitality business, we are open seven days per week, however flexible scheduling is available!
Responsibilities:

Receive travel requests for new reservations by telephone or email.

Promptly follow up with guest inquiry leads for second chance bookings.

Possess strong ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.

Maintain high quality of service to every caller using proper verbiage and utilizing appropriate phone etiquette.

Accurately quote rates and maintain complete knowledge of all promotions and available discounts.

Post guest deposits.

Maintain potential and current guest profile information.

Use computerized reservation systems to book hotel reservations and issue confirmations.

Provide concierge services with general knowledge of the property and surrounding area including restaurants, entertainment, special events and general directions.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. Knowledge of SpringerMiller, Marriott software and/or SalesForce is preferred but not required.
Pay rate (weekly): $18 per hour to start, with overtime opportunities available.
