RMC is hiring for an experienced Windows System Admin who will support a US Navy environment. The selected applicant will manage the functionality and efficiency of windows workstations and servers and perform hardware and software installations.  The systems administrator will provide technical knowledge on tasks or technology assignments and lead communication and collaboration with the technical leadership team.

The selected applicant will: 

  • Serve as an on-site Windows Administrator providing management and administration support to Microsoft Windows Server solutions for the US Navy customer
  • Provide overall architecture guidance and assist with deploying and configuring Windows Server solutions, including Active Directory, Distributed File Systems (DFS), File Services (Project, User shared folders, and Quotas)
  • Provide overall architecture guidance and assist with deployment, configuration, & maintenance of Microsoft Endpoint Manager Configuration Manager (MEMCM)
  • Provide Tier III support to the DC, DFS, & MEMCM implementations
  • Provide Tier II support as needed for general Core Services ticket management
  • Continuously analyze the customer's needs and identify security requirements, risks, and proposed solutions
  • Maintain all qualification(s) required by the CSWF for PAA.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and ten (10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, active directory, application hosting, IIS configuration, and SQL server database work is required. 
  • Five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) or SCCM experience in an enterprise environment
  • Five (5) years of experience with Windows Server 2019 / 2022 administration experience (specifically Core Mode, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, OCSP, WSUS, DFS, IIS)
  • Microsoft SQL Server administration experience
  • Windows 10 / 11 enterprise deployment and imaging
  • The selected applicant must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in RDT&E environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot DC, DFS, and MEMCM issues and assist with sustainment and maintenance on all technical aspects of these solutions
  • Possess strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Applicant must currently possess a secret security clearance
  • General understanding of Powershell scripting to assist automating tasks or to facilitate server maintenance.
