Data Product Manager, Targeting & Measurement

Join Revive Media to help advertisers across the country scale their localized Connected TV advertising. Our business is growing rapidly and we’re in the midst of transforming from a services agency to a product-led business with our new native platform. This new platform is currently used internally and will need support to drive adoption across the organization before pivoting to sell it more broadly in the future.

We are a small, remote-first team of high-performing professionals with diverse backgrounds located across many time zones, including North America, Europe, and Asia. We prioritize asynchronous communication and documentation but come together as a team to solve hard problems.


Position Overview

As a Data Product Manager, you will join our targeting and measurement team, leveraging data to create business value through our reporting packages, real time dashboards and other strategic data implementations. These initiatives are key to our reporting revenue growth strategy.

You will primarily oversee our customer-facing campaign performance reporting products which include modeling/blending, an in-house BI tool, and automated reporting presentations. Your deep understanding of data management, analytics, and product development will enable you to create and refine products that harness the power of data throughout their entire lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will balance hands-on work with strategic thinking and has a solid experience working with SQL, data warehousing , and BI tools. You excel at interpreting customer and business needs, translating complex topics into digestible information and taking charge to accomplish audacious goals.

Responsibilities

  • Product Requirements: Define and document product features through wireframes, specifications, and requirements
  • Product Development: Work with engineering, design, and key stakeholders to ensure timely development of new features
  • Product Adoption: Support the rollout of new features, provide training and documentation when needed, and continually grow product usage across teams
  • Reporting Products Roadmap: Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
  • Dashboard Creation: You will use our proprietary BI tools to create campaign dashboards for customers at scale
  • Data Infrastructure Oversight: Ensure the reliability and security of data infrastructure by identifying potential risks, setting priorities, and coordinating efforts to address them proactively, minimizing impact on project timelines
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality assurance efforts to ensure products meet quality standards and customer expectations

What to expect in your first 90 days

Month 1 - Get your bearings

  • Learn how our software, tools, and business processes work by completing training sessions and responding to internal support inquiries
  • Help run our campaign reports, support incoming requests and deliver insights with customer teams
  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and customer success, to understand their workflows and needs
  • Get Ads certifications (Amazon Ads, etc)

Month 2 - Dive into the backlog

  • Collaborate with the product team to identify backlog items you can support and execute on with engineering
  • Become familiar with more advanced advertising concepts and Revive’s differentiation in the market

Month 3 - Product roadmap ownership

  • Lead new platform integrations and develop product offerings
  • Take product ownership of our in-house BI tool
  • 5+ years of data or analytics focused product management
  • Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions (AWS Redshift preferred) and managing BI tools
  • Willingness to flex design muscles (small ones) when design team members are not available
  • The communication skills necessary to translate between user needs and technical realities of building complex tools
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced product development environment
  • Ability to understand complex systems and identify interdependencies
  • Ability to make decisions independently and collaborate where necessary
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance, preferred
  • Experience in ad tech or knowledge of the digital advertising market, preferred

Revive Media provides the wage it reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for all remote roles and as otherwise required by applicable law. The expected annual base pay for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation may vary within the listed range based on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, and specific geographic location. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees and does not include equity and variable pay.
