Director of Product

Revivn is a profitable and rapidly growing company that helps enterprises manage their technology through our end of life software platform. We take electronic recycling one step further by repurposing hardware that still has remaining life and providing it to people who lack dedicated computer access and make it more affordable for people who may not be able to purchase a new piece of technology. Working with companies like Instacart, Lyft, Qualtrics, X, Gensler, and Allbirds we are changing the way companies view used technology with a new model that focuses on repurposing instead of recycling.

About the Role: After several years of rapid growth, Revivn is poised to further refine and expand on our enterprise hardware lifecycle management solutions. The Director of Product at Revivn holds a pivotal role, overseeing the development and refinement of both external customer-facing products and internal tools used by our warehouse facilities and operations departments. In this multifaceted position, this individual is instrumental in driving the success of Revivn's end-of-life software platform and ensuring its alignment with the company's mission and objectives.

We are in an in-person company headquartered in New York. If you currently don’t live here, but you are our person, we will pay to relocate you!

In this role you will:

  • Partner with the CEO to develop a comprehensive product vision, strategy and roadmap that encompasses both external customer-facing products and internal tools, ensuring a unified and cohesive user experience across all touchpoints and that aligns with Revivn's overall mission and objectives
  • Balance the needs of enterprise clients and end-users with the operational requirements of Facilities and Operations teams
    • Be responsible for two products: Phoenix, our internal operating software, and the Revivn app, our client facing software
  • Manage prioritization processes including triaging new requests and facilitating scoping sessions
  • Manage product launch and release plans to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery
  • Measure product/feature performance systematically, implementing iterative enhancements to drive higher adoption rates and deliver increased value to users
  • Build close connections with both internal and external users in order to analyze different workflows and understand needs to inform the roadmap
  • Capture product opportunities in user stories, business flow diagrams and requirements and work with the engineering team to scope and deliver them
  • Prepare, maintain, and deliver  the product roadmap while working with management and other key contributors to evaluate and prioritize opportunities that align with business objectives and customer needs
  • Act as a product champion within the company, providing product training, presentations, and support to internal teams
  • Work closely with various internal stakeholders, including engineering, operations, marketing and sales teams, to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement of both customer-facing products and internal tools

We’re ideally seeking:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a product manager, ideally having navigated both enterprise corporate landscapes and startup environments
  • Demonstrated success in building products from conceptualization to launch, turning ideas into tangible, impactful solutions
  • A customer-centric mindset, and an eagerness to identify and tackle customer problems head-on, with a passion for crafting practical and effective solutions
  • Ability to thrive in our fast-paced, rapidly growing startup, embracing change as an opportunity for innovation and growth
  • A data-driven self-starter, who’s not afraid to dive into the numbers and uncover previously hidden insights and value
  • A visionary that possesses a strategic mindset, capable of envisioning the larger picture and making informed decisions to steer product success
  • A user empathy expert that possesses a deep understanding and connection with end-users, ensuring that every product decision is rooted in a sincere desire to enhance their experience and solve their challenges
  • Prioritization expertise, ensuring the team focuses on initiatives that align with business objectives and deliver maximum impact
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the principles of Product Management, committed to reshaping how we approach and deliver successful products.

Bonus points:

  • Experience writing SQL
  • Experience creating Tableau dashboards or working with other data visualization tools
  • Experience as a “Scrum Lead” or equivalent, managing or co-managing the agile sprint process
  • Experience with UI/UX design and best practices

If this sounds like you, apply! If you don’t meet all of the qualifications but think you could be a match, we’d still love the chance to review your application.

We embrace diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive environment. At Revivn, we encourage people from all ages, abilities, and experiences to apply. Revivn does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital or family status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, pregnancy or caregiver status, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.

At Revivn, we prioritize transparency about our salary throughout the entire recruitment process. Be prepared to chat about compensation on your initial screen so that we can ensure alignment. If salary expectations and ranges are out of sync, we believe it is kind to respect everyone’s time and may discontinue conversations.

But, here at Revivn, we ALSO believe in investing in the lifetime value of each individual we meet and interact with. (We love knowing good humans and supporting them in whatever they do). We know that if it isn’t a good fit at the moment, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it won’t be a good fit in the future as we both continue to grow! We work to remain in contact with prospective candidates if the recruitment process ends early on.

For all job openings, we consider candidates with various backgrounds and levels of experience. When we give an offer it is based on individual skills and experience, as well as how that stacks up against other employees in the role. All of our ranges account for growth within the role, so in most cases, you should expect to join closer to the entry point of the band. You will have the opportunity to grow your salary over time.

The salary range for a Director of Product is $120,000 - $180,000
