Engineering Manager - Patient Access (Remote)

About the Role

We are hiring a mission and impact-driven engineering manager to lead the Patient Access team at Rula. This team is responsible for connecting prospective patients with therapy or medication management that fits their schedule and their budget. As the EM on Patient Access, you will guide a team of passionate and collaborative engineers to build crucial product experiences and technologies, from redesigning our therapist matching flow to rearchitecting our patient creation backend. You will work closely with your product and cross-functional partners to own our core patient funnel and the corresponding patient conversion metrics. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience, including 6+ years as an individual contributor and 2+ years in engineering management.

  • Experience managing an engineering team with 7+ direct reports where you were responsible performance management, mentoring, and career growth

  • Proven track record of managing projects with fixed deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of modern engineering principles, tools, and processes.
