About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Operations, the Sr. Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving process breakdowns in Financial Operations, which ultimately impacts Rula’s business and growth.
The Sr Financial Operations Manager will pair process decomposition with analytics to identify process breakdowns, prioritize top areas, solution revamped processes, and implement said processes within the Financial Operations organization including the full revenue cycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic priorities and will act as a company-wide resource for revenue cycle activities across commercial and government lines of business.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of experience in revenue cycle management and/or strategy consulting, leading end-to-end transformation (process, technology, and people)
High level experience in billing professional claims for different types of insurance, particularly government (Medicare, Medicaid), commercial, EAP, etc.
Expertise in applying structure, cross-functional partnership, prioritization, and effective communication to solve complex problems across the organization
Familiarity with writing deliverables (e.g. technical requirements, experiment results, strategy documents) that are concise and clear for technical and non-technical audiences
Experience leveraging data and creating simple data visualization modeling to track performance and guide business decisions

Previous experience in a startup environment
Technical savviness and fluency with tools such as Google Suite, Zendesk, Salesforce, EHRs, or similar platforms
Expertise with building processes and utilizing tools such as payer portals (e.g. Availity) to drive optimization
Advance experience using data analytics, with proficiency in SQL and Looker
