Job Title: Product Manager - Health Tech AI

Location: Hybrid, Palo Alto, CA Tuesday through Thursday

About Us:

At Sage Care, we’re transforming healthcare with AI-powered solutions to streamline care navigation for health systems. Our technology makes it easier for patients to find the right doctor, helps providers focus on the patients who need them most, and ensures faster access to care. Built by experts from Carbon Health, Apple, and Uber, our platform automates triage, enhances provider-patient matching, and maximizes appointment capacity—reducing wait times and improving overall efficiency. We're on a mission to make healthcare more accessible and efficient for everyone.

Overview:

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our growing team and drive execution on core B2B product initiatives. You’ll play a central role in turning ideas into milestones, collaborating with engineering, design, and other key stakeholders to bring impactful solutions to life.

This role is perfect for someone with strong execution skills, excellent communication, and hands-on experience launching 0–1 products. If you're passionate about healthcare, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take deep ownership of your work — we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Product Execution

    • Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from early concepts to successful launches, with a strong focus on 0 - 1 product delivery

    • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals and customer needs

    • Translate ambiguous ideas into clear milestones, product requirements, and specs that drive focused execution

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner across leadership, engineering, design, marketing, and sales to align on strategy and deliver high-impact products that drive business and user value

    • Prioritize features, manage the product backlog, and lead agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros)

    • Serve as the primary product point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned and informed

  • Customer Insight & Continuous Improvement

    • Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to guide product decisions

    • Monitor product performance, usage, and outcomes to iterate quickly and effectively

    • Incorporate input from healthcare partners and clinical users to build practical, user-centered solutions

  • Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management

    • Communicate clearly and frequently across teams,  providing regular updates on progress, blockers, and product strategy

    • Present updates and product direction to executive leadership, partners, and customers as needed

    • Ensure a shared understanding of priorities and timelines across all functions

  • Domain Knowledge & Innovation

    • Build with domain expertise in healthcare — understanding provider workflows, patient needs, and care navigation dynamics

    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, ML, or voice technologies to improve triage, decision support, and overall efficiency

    • Stay up to date on trends in digital health, patient access, and operational transformation in healthcare

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B or healthcare tech

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or experience in a similar role

  • Proven experience building and launching 0–1 products

  • Strong communication and project management skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with fast-paced deliverables

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • Must be based in the Bay Area — this is a hybrid role with in-office presence required Tues–Thurs in Palo Alto, CA

  • Ability to travel occasionally to partner sites as needed

Nice to Have:

  • Background in healthcare, care delivery workflows, or EHR/EMR integration

  • Experience working on AI, ML, or voice-enabled products

  • Prior startup experience

  • Familiarity with patient triage, care coordination, or provider-matching systems
