Sales Planner, Digital Media (Remote, Los Angeles)

About this Role


We are needing a Sales Planner, Digital Media to join our Revenue Operations team. You will build and maximize the value of direct-sold online advertising campaigns, through strategic and the best support in a pre-sales capacity. You will report directly to our Manager of Sales Planning! You will be in either of our offices located in San Francisco or Los Angeles and be remote with one day a week in the office!

Are you ready to take on this visible, client-facing role? To be successful in this role you have previous media planning experience, and able to develop media plans, and maximize revenue. You're also passionate about digital advertising and exceptional at client service.

You Will...


  • Respond to agency/client RFPs by building digital media plans and assist with pitch decks.
  • Partner with our Research department to build sales 'data stories' for clients
  • Educate agencies and clients to promote Fandom and our offerings
  • Partner with Sales to understand client goals; provide strategic guidance on ad product selection, pricing, and internal requirements
  • Build Internal and External (Agency Templates) media plans
  • Use Google Ad Manager to forecast avails for media plans (video/display on desktop/mobile)
  • Experienced with 3rd party, rich media, and Verification vendors(DCM, Sizmek, Double Verif), and Data Management Platforms(Krux, Lotame, BlueKai, or Audigent)
  • Use third-party IO/client order management tools (Prisma, Atlas, or Operative)
  • Book sold deals into our OMS (Boostr)
  • Participate in internal and external client call's during the pre-sale and pre to post sale transition


You Have:


  • 1+ years related media or sales planning experience
  • Experience with campaign booking tools and ad servers such as CRMs, OMS or Ad Servers ( e.g., Google Ad Manager, Operative, Boostr, or Prisma)
  • Experienced in a client-facing role (Client Services, Sales/Planning, or Account/Project Management)
  • Knowledge of online advertising industry, trends, technologies, pricing models and ad campaign metrics; CPM, CPA, Viewability, VCR, IVT, or Brand Safety
  • Experienced with 3rd party, rich media, and Verification vendors


Bonus if you have:


  • Experience with any of these:(DCM, Sizmek, Double Verify IAS), and Data Management Platforms (Krux, Lotame, BlueKai, Permutive, or Audigent
  • Enjoy pop culture (Movies, Games, TV Shows, Anime)
